Components of the Archive
The physical archive consists of correspondence, pamphlets, document wallets containing leaflets, periodicals and other loose items, lever arch files of miscellaneous items, newspaper cuttings, photos, etc. So far about 30,000 pages have been digitized, and it is likely that the Foundation cCllections alone may eventually accumulate 100,000 images online, in step with the often arduous work of sorting the material for submission to the digitisation process.
The size of the physical archive was further doubled in 2022 with the acquisition of the additional collection, the Eric Levy Bequest, and the acquisition of further items will certainly follow, though in view of the specialist nature of the archive, the increase in its scale may be expected to level off in future years rather than increasing exponentially.
Besides the images digitised from the physical archive, there will in addition be downloads from other open source information resources, which will be fully credited in accordance with best academic practice.
The material also includes many photos, and audio and video material may also be added.
